High Pin Count Epoxy Ring Assembly
Epoxy ring probe cards from 1 to 550 probes are in regular production here at Alpha Probes. Semiconductor cards with pitches down to 50µm, designs using multi-tier needles, and multi-die configurations are offered. Resistor Chip probe cards are a specialty of Alpha Probes . Below is an example of 0201 resistors and Capacitors mounted to the inside of the probes Spider.
Planarization Test Stations
Alpha Probes uses many types of test / planarization stations for precise X,Y,Z planarity adjustment of assembled probe cards. The station can detect planarity variations in the low microns and ensures that probe card manufactured at Alpha Probes perform at the highest level of customer need.
For probe cards with close pitch or very small bond pads, Alpha Probes always perform a probe card analysis of the card to verify alignment, planarity, leakage, Cres, overlay and other factors to ensure that the card can be immediately placed into service upon receipt.
